Stop Snoring Guide
If you are constantly snoring up to the point that it annoys your partner, I would highly recommend you to grab this book written by Kathy Joyce. She has a lot of experience dealing with people who snore at night.
I will pull out several interesting facts from her website. Fact no 1: The loudest snore ever recorded on the Guinness Book of Records is 93 decibels. This is equivalent to 18 wheeler blasting through the bedroom every 10 second. Fact no 2: It is the quality and not the quantity of sleep that counts. You can sleep like 12 hours a day and still wake up the next morning feeling very tired. Fact no 3: The wife of a snorer loses 62 minutes of sleep every night. This is equivalent to a huge loss of 384 hours of sleep a year. Now, this is scary because it can be detrimental to your relationship. Sometimes, the snoring issue is so serious that married couples have to live in 2 separate rooms. If you do not deal with this issue in a tactful manner, divorce might also be possible.
If you do not want to go to the doctors or get any of the CPAP machine, this book is definitely for you. In her book, Kathy will show you all the steps that you must take to cure snoring naturally based on her experience working with people who were suffering from the same problems. I bought this book about a month ago and I am half way through the book. I especially like the part on avoiding certain food that would cause snoring and the one on restoring your relationship. To be frank, I previously had an argument with my girlfriend over this snoring issue and the situation was not pleasant until I grabbed a copy of this book. Well, we still do argue once in a while but one thing is for sure, I have managed to overcome my snoring issues. It has improved following the guidelines provided by Kathy.
If you are serious about improving your situation or stop snoring once and for all, you should definitely grab a copy of this book. Stop snoring at the early stages and do not allow it to grow into some sleep apnea or other forms of sleep disorders.

All you need to know about how to stop snoring
Snoring is probably one of our biggest problems. We might snore at night although we sometimes refuse to admit that. Well, we probably do not even know that we actually snore at night. This incident happened to me once. I was sleeping with my friends in a dormitory and the following day, when we all woke up, the person who slept next to me told me that I was snoring like a cow. Now, that was really embarrassing. The big question remains: How do we stop snoring?
The first thing you can do is to adjust your sleeping position. Certain sleeping positions put pressure on your breathing system and make you gasp for air at night while you are sleeping. If this happens, you are definitely going to snore at night. So, how to stop snoring while you are sleeping? Try to sleep on your side. By sleeping on your side, you are not putting any pressure on your lungs, which makes it easy for you to breathe at night. Another thing that you can do is to slightly elevate your head, with the help of a pillow, while you are sleeping to prevent your throat tissues from blocking the air passage. If you want to stop snoring, make sure you do not lie flat on your back.
Sometimes, snoring is caused by a temporary condition like cold or allergy. How to stop snoring if you are suffering from these conditions? Simple! By using decongestant or antihistamine. These items prevent nasal congestion. However, only use them as a temporary measure. Or if you like, you can gargle your mouth with some peppermint mouthwash. It helps relieve nasal congestion as well.
Next, try the nasal strips. If you have not heard of one, it is time to hit the pharmacies. Get one of these nasal strips to open up your nose to increase airflow.
Last but not least, you can also stop snoring by watching what you eat before going to bed. Whether you believe it or not, there are certain food items that would narrow your nasal and throat airway upon consumption. So, whenever possible, do not take food items that would cause you to relax before sleeping because once your body is in a relaxed mode, nasal airways become narrower and you tend to snore at night. Such food items would include alcohol, sleeping pills or chocolate.
